The new NSX GT3 Evo

Honda Motor Company is pleased to announce that an enhanced NSX GT3, designated the NSX GT3 Evo, will compete on racetracks throughout the world in 2019.

Based on the ultra-popular NSX production model, the latest evolution of the multiple race-winning NSX GT3 features a number of important revisions aimed at delivering improved performance and reliability to customer racing teams around the globe.

Masashi Yamamoto, general manager, Honda Motorsports, says:

Our new defibrillator in its place on our reception wall

Following the redevelopment of its showroom, Trident Honda has now installed a fully automatic defibrillator in its customer reception area, for the protection of its staff and customers.

Richard Roberts, managing director of Trident Honda, explains:

Whilst we have never experienced a cardiac arrest on our premises in our 55 years of trading, nevertheless it would seem 'heartless' to forego this simple and affordable protection for our staff and customers. It is very unusual in business to purchase an item in the hope that it will never be used, but it is very reassuring to know that, should the worst should happen, we have the equipment to potentially save a life.

Boy in a swimming pool

Trident Honda is delighted to once again be sponsoring the Woking Swimathon in 2018. The event is being held on Sunday 14th October 2018, between 9am-6pm at Pool in the Park, Kingfield Rd, Woking.

Woking Rotary are looking for teams of up to 6 swimmers to swim a total of 55 minutes between them in their own lane, with each member getting sponsorship for the team!

So if you can swim and you are at least 8 years of age come along and have some fun and raise money for charity while you do.

The Aure family collect their new 7-seater Honda CR-V

On Friday Mr & Mrs Aure collected their new 2019 Honda CR-V 7-seater, the first ever 7-seater CR-V to be sold by Trident Honda. It was particularly special, as the Aure family were replacing their Honda FR-V, bought from us ten years ago - and the last Honda sold in the UK with more than five seats.

The magnificent seven

The new CR-V keeps its effortless 'one-motion' folding rear seat and also offers the option of a third row, with two extra seats, on selected petrol grades. When not in use the seats fold neatly away.

The new 2019 Honda CR-V Hybrid in

Ahead of its European show debut at the 2018 Mondial Paris Motor Show, Honda has confirmed official fuel economy and CO2 emissions for the all-new CR-V Hybrid. Under the combined cycle of the revised NEDC test, the front-wheel drive model of the 184 PS (135 kW) petrol-electric SUV has achieved CO2 emissions of 120g/km and official average (combined) fuel economy of 5.3l/100km (53.3mpg). The all-wheel drive CR-V Hybrid variant has CO2 emissions of 126g/km and average (combined) fuel economy of 5.5 l/100km (51.4 mpg).

The CR-V Hybrid is driven by Honda's unique i-MMD technology, which intelligently and automatically switches between three driving modes - EV Drive, Hybrid Drive and Engine Drive - to optimise both performance and efficiency.

Our shiny new showroom

Following the completion of our showroom redevelopment, we have taken some external photos and a 360° internal views (see below).

We are very proud of our new showroom, why not come along to our Macmillan World's Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 28th September, and on Saturday 29th September, and see it for yourself?

How Honda Hybrid works

In a first for a Honda SUV in Europe, the all-new CR-V will be available with advanced hybrid powertrain technology. The Honda Hybrid Performance system features intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (i-MMD) technology comprising two electric motors, an Atkinson-cycle petrol engine and an innovative direct transmission delivering high levels of efficiency and refinement.

Key facts

Last year's Midnight Walk

Trident Honda are once again the lead sponsor for the Woking Hospice Midnight Walk 2018.

This highly popular annual walk is aimed at ladies only, and is a great way to socialise, to enjoy a night-time walk under the stars, and to also remember loved ones.

This year's 10 mile event will be held on Friday 28th September from 8pm to 12.00am and will start and finish at Woking Leisure Centre. In 2017 we built on the number of participants to reach almost 800 walkers ages 11 and up!

Richard Roberts, managing director of Trident Honda, said:

Mr Kobal gives a thumbs-up from the seat of his new Honda CR-V

We are delighted to announce that we have now handed over our first 2019 Honda CR-V. Mr Kobal has chosen a 1.5 i-VTEC SR - a wise choice, as the SR model now includes as standard many of the features that were previously only available on the EX model.

This new 1.5 litre turbo petrol engine offers much better performance than the 2.0 litre petrol of the previous generation CR-V - not only faster, but more relaxed and more economical.

Trident Honda now has fewer than 10 Honda CR-Vs remaining in its 2018 allocation, so to be one of the first to enjoy this massively improved model - please do contact us today.

Honda took Hat Trick at Honest John Awards

Earlier this year, Honda took three of the top awards in this year's Honest John Awards, with the Jazz, Civic and HR-V winning the gongs for small hatchback, small family car and small crossover of the year respectively.

Speaking at the time, Dan Harrison, managing editor at honestjohn.co.uk, commented:

The Honda Jazz is a smash hit with the readers of HonestJohn.co.uk and a worthy winner of the Small Hatchback of the Year award. Easy to drive, comfortable and practical, the Jazz is everything a small car should be, and our readers agree when we say it's simply one of the best small hatchbacks you can buy.
