An all-new Honda Urban SUV Concept vehicle made its world debut at the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The dynamic and youthful concept hints at the styling direction of an all-new small SUV slated to launch in Japan by the end of 2013, followed by the rest of the world from 2014.
The Urban SUV Concept is intended to provide the basis for a fun-to-drive and fuel-efficient small SUV with aspirational design, flexible packaging and next-generation connectivity targeting active lifestyle customers. The concept showcases clean and sophisticated styling, dynamic character lines and a strong stance, with hidden rear door handles giving the SUV a coupe-like presence. On 9 January 2012 Acura (a division of Honda operating in the US and Canada) announced at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit that an all-new NSX supercar will be manufactured in Ohio. In addition, the new sports car will be developed in the U.S., including the Ohio Center of Honda R&D Americas, Inc. (HRA).
Honda Motor Co., Ltd. President and CEO Takanobu Ito unveiled a concept version of the NSX today in Detroit. Although Acura is keeping most of the vehicle's details under wraps, the new NSX will employ a lightweight chassis, a mid-mounted V-6 engine and Acura's innovative new Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All Wheel Drive) system. Honda Motor Co., Ltd. will exhibit the world premiere of the EV-STER, the next-generation electric small sports concept model, at the 42nd Tokyo Motor Show 2011, which will take place at Tokyo Big Sight from Saturday December 3 through to Sunday December 11 2011.
Featuring a dynamic and innovative styling design and excellent environmental performance, the EV-STER, an electric rear-wheel-drive two-seater convertible sports car, will propose a new way to enjoy a sports type model which is unique to the electromotive mobility. The adoption of carbon materials made it possible to reduce the vehicle weight contributing to the vehicle's high driving performance and range of approximately 160km. The easy-to-operate twin-lever steering was adopted for the thorough pursuit of the joy of driving. Honda unveiled the all-new Fit (Jazz) EV Concept electric vehicle and the platform for a mid-size plug-in hybrid vehicle. Both vehicles are integral to the Honda Electric Mobility Network, the company's comprehensive approach to reducing CO2 emissions through innovative products, energy management and energy production technologies.
The Fit EV Concept hints strongly at the direction and styling for Honda's upcoming production Fit EV all-electric vehicle, which will be introduced to the US and Japan in 2012. The all-new plug-in hybrid platform showcases Honda's next-generation, two-motor hybrid technology set to debut in 2012.

It's unlikely that this premium 4x4 will ever come to Europe, but it has been spotted testing at the Nurburgring, demonstrating that Honda is determined to ensure it has the 'European' driving characteristics that will help it appeal to US buyers.

Honda has revealed a ground-breaking hydrogen-powered FC Sport concept at the Los Angeles motor show.
The three-seat coupe concept car explores the flexibility of the Japanese brand's 'V Flow' hydrogen fuel cell technology. Until now, the emissions-free system has only been used in the FCX Clarity saloon.
Honda is promising supercar levels of performance from the FC Sport, thanks to lightweight construction and a powerful electric motor. The concept's design and shape has been dictated by the need to maximise aerodynamic efficiency.
The electric motor sits just in front of the rear axle. As well as improving handling, this packaging frees up more space in the cabin.Continue Reading
